5yr old AKC, Male, German Shepherd in Omaha, NE

5yr old, AKC, Blanket-back, black and tan, German Shepherd, Male, fully intact, smart and energetic, loves kids and his family but will warn you if anyone is on your property or at your door. He is scary looking but has a huge heart and wouldn't hurt a fly. My boys are 10 and 7 we've had Mack since he was 3 months old. Their friends are always in and out of the house when we're home so he is used to kids, and noise! He is the dog that follows you around when you're home, lays by your feet, sleeps at the bottom of your bed and is always watching out for the kids. He plays fetch, shakes, sits, stays, crawls, lays, jumps, high-fives, and hugs. He has yet to let the boys ride him like a horse but they always try. When I leave, he lays by the front door and waits for me to come home.
