Aerotek Energy Services is looking for an experienced Electrical Designer for a client in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a long term contract positions, with many of our applicants having a tenure of 3 yrs. The opening is an immediate need with an ideal start date of Monday, April 23rd. The ideal candidate will have 5 yrs of background in electrical design, background with automation projects, and have familiarity with electrical codes and wiring.This position will report directly to a Design Manager and be responsible for producing engineering drawings from design details that will reflect accurate dimensions, layout, physical arrangements and material specifications of new or modified facilities. They will determine the extent of detail layout arrangemnts, scale, etc. of orthographic drawings and projects, perform simple calculations, review all codes company policies safety, manage engineering sketches, handle redlines and as-built drawing corrections, and attend weekly departmental meetings, among other duties.
