Mechanical Engineer in Omaha, NE

Aerotek is seeking a mechanical engineer that will be working with a global manufacturing company in the Omaha area. We are looking for an engineer with a passion and experience for mechanical engineering who also has on the job design experience. Top applicants will display a experience in AutoCAD, research and development, or projects.Our best applicants will have Bachelor?s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering with 1-3yrs design and machine engineering experience. Preferably this experience would be design experience, even more so in tooling. Basic knowledge of the research and design process in this position is vital, as you will be working on a team. Time management will also be very important with many projects going on simultaneously. Understanding of tooling operations along with Finite Element Analysis will be key, as they will be used in day-to-day happenings. Software experience is a must, especially in 2D and 3D AutoCAD. Other software that could be beneficial would be Solidworks, Inventor, or other molding software.
